Comprehensive Care That Looks At The Whole Child, Not Just The

Symptoms

When your child is living with a chronic, inflammatory, or autoimmune condition, it can feel overwhelming. Dr. Singla provides comprehensive pediatric rheumatology care that goes beyond simply reviewing lab results and starting medications.

She takes time to understand the full picture of your child's health, including medical findings, daily routines, stress, and environmental influences that may contribute to flares and fatigue. With this broader perspective, she develops a personalized and practical plan focused on reducing inflammation, improving function, and helping your child feel stronger and more capable each day.

  • Pediatric patients looking to get an evaluation/work-up for a possible rheumatologic diagnosis plus address integrative options for their condition(s). (This is what makes Rheum to Grow different from a traditional pediatric rheumatology practice!)

  • Patients who already have established rheumatology care and want an integrative assessment/recommendations to enhance their overall care.

Ready to Help Your Child Feel Better?

After completing the Game Plan, follow-up care with Dr. Singla and the Rheum to Grow team is tailored to your child’s needs.

Based on her recommendation, some families check in as needed, while others benefit from regular visits every 3–4 months to review progress, update labs, medications, supplements, and adjust the plan as necessary.

This optional service, priced separately, is ideal for families who want ongoing support and accountability to make the Game Plan easier to follow, sustainable, and more likely to improve your child's daily health and function.

Laura, our Rheum‑mate, provides practical, personalized guidance to help your child reach their ideal health outcomes. She works alongside your family to make clinical recommendations manageable and realistic, offering encouragement, education, and strategies to overcome challenges and stay consistent between appointments.

With her expertise in lifestyle and behavior change, she helps families implement solutions that support long-term results.

Dr. Singla, Laura, and the entire Rheum to Grow team meet weekly to review your child’s progress, discuss challenges, and adjust the plan as needed — ensuring coordinated, consistent, and personalized care.

Our team can help with:

  • Practical adjustments to your child's diet to reduce flare-ups

  • Meal planning and preparation strategies that fit your family routine

  • Guidance on helping your child take vitamins or supplements without stress

  • Support for managing injection or treatment-related anxiety

  • Calming bedtime routines and stress-reduction strategies

Before Your Arrival:

  • Before the visit, our team gathers your child's medical records so Dr. Singla can review them in detail, making the consultation focused and efficient while ensuring all your questions are addressed during your face-to-face visit.

During the Consultation:

  • Unlike a typical pediatric rheumatology visit, in addition to a thorough history and physical exam, Dr. Singla also reviews your child’s routines and environment — including nutrition, sleep, exercise, stress, emotional well-being, social support, and surroundings — to see the whole picture of their health.

  • After reviewing the diagnosis, expected course, potential complications, treatment goals, and medication side effects, a personalized Game Plan is created. It blends conventional therapies with supportive strategies tailored to daily life, helping manage symptoms, improve function, and support overall well-being.

  • Labs are collected in-office using gentle, pain-reduction techniques. Orders for imaging, medications, and referrals are placed as needed. Labs are billed to insurance, with discounted cash options available if needed.

  • Auricular acupressure is applied as indicated (if desired).

After the Consultation

  • About two weeks after the consultation (once all labs/imaging have resulted), Dr. Singla calls to review results, adjust the Game Plan if needed, answer questions, and communicate the plan with your child’s other doctors.
