WHAT'S INCLUDED IN EACH VISIT

before

  • Prior to your arrival, Dr. Singla thoroughly reviews your child's records from their primary care provider/pediatrician and subspecialist(s). 

during

  • In addition to a deep dive into you/your child's symptoms and a thorough physical exam, Dr. Singla reviews their nutrition patterns, exercise, sleep, stress, emotional/self-regulation abilities, and social support.

  • A "Game Plan" is crafted after discussion of treatment goals. This includes conventional and complementary therapies such as medications, diet modification, supplements if needed, sleep hygiene, mind-body strategies such as breathwork and guided-imagery, and exercise/therapy suggestions.

  • Labs are collected in the office using pain reduction techniques including numbing cream, ice, the Buzzy Bee, breathing techniques, and aromatherapy. Labs are billed to your insurance, unless discounted cash pay is preferred.

  • Orders for appropriate imaging, medications, and referrals are placed.

  • Auricular acupressure is applied as indicated (if desired).

after

  • After the visit, Dr. Singla communicates directly with you/your child's specialist(s) to convey the impression and plan of care.

  • Once labs have resulted (usually about 1 week), Dr. Singla reviews results with you to discuss further care plans.

  • Please block 2 hours of your time for the initial visit and 1 hour for follow-up visits.

  • If possible, bring your medications (including herbs and supplements) or at least a list/picture of each including the name, dose, and frequency you take it.

  • Your questions, concerns, and goals for the visit

*Please Note: Patients >20 y.o. must have an adult Rheumatologist. Dr. Singla will provide integrative medicine care only.
